Just got to have some good ole Louisiana fun….
Journal,
Don’t know what it is, but something just jumps on me about having some funning. Reckon I need to dedicate this part of my entry to two young ladies who are in the process of moving to Louisiana to be part of the Christian Challenge family.
By the way this entry will be very much different from the usual. I’m gonna share some music that I hope stirs your hearts with a love for Louisiana and for Country music. Besides that I’m still trying to work some kinks out of my blog. Thought having a bit of fun would help me with another test.
Anyhow, now for the two young belles from other places. Lois Gibson is originally from New Jersey, but she be a coming to Louisiana by way of Houston, Texas. And Jenni Baier is also from New Jersey, but she’s a coming to Louisiana by way of Tampa, Florida. Whoeee, those ladies sho nuff do git around.
Now Jenni, I’m still working on that inspiration that you had concerning me and my cousin sounding like we were from Mayberry. Course I tank you were jest joshing. You were, weren’t you?
Anyway girls, here’s a great big howdy. Thought now might be a good time to begin getting you acclamated to Louisiana. So, if’n you don’t mind, just take a listen to this introduction to Cajun Louisiana…
Ok, now for the Cajun national anthem….
Hope I’m not in trouble. After all, most folk expect me to provide a least a bit of a Bible devotion. But fer now I’ll jest keep on a going with my Louisiana country love. How many of you old timers remember the song, “I Dreamed of a Hillbilly Heaven.”
Now that I have you weeping, think I’ll jest mosey on down the road. (Also want to mention that I’m still trying to work some kinks out of my blog. Oh, I think I already mentioned that.)
Have a good evening. And remember,
Jesus really, really loves you,
Buddy
