I am in such a awe of the true Chrisitan couples I have met and seen since I have been coming to Christian Challenge. It’s so refreshing to see real partners together. It truly gives me hope that somewhere out there God has my perfect mate waiting on me. I must admit that I’ve never really trusted in the Lord to lead me to that special person. I always tried to “fix” that area of my life myself. And as a result nothing has ever worked out. But as I told you before it is my true heart’s desire to be a devoted wife. Most people in this day and time when they here me say this they tell me, “Your crazy, stay single you’ll have less headaches.” But I simply reply by telling them that I long for a companion in my life. Since I have made a fresh start with the Lord I believe that when he thinks I’m ready he direct that “special” person my way. I have been learnng alot since I first started coming and it seems as though I learn something new each day. Bro. Buddy saying thank you for everything that you & the Christian Challenge family have done for me just doesn’t cover it all. What I feel for all of you goes so much further. I know now that I’m not the person I use to be.

Looks like we are on the same page. I don’t put much stock into those who wish to be seen as ’special links’ to God. The Lord is my healer. He is the only link we need.
