I gave a reference to this curse in my blog. Actually there is more than one reference in the Talmud. The reference I used is Talmudic Law. p.978, Section 2, Line 28.

Here is another:

“May they drop (dead) who try to figure out the end; for they (sages) say, since the time of his (Messiah’s) coming has already arrived yet he did not come, therefore he will not come at all.” (Sanhedrin 97b)

Maimonidies who lived 1135-1204 AD confirmed the curse:

“Similarly, one should not try to calculate the appointed time [for the coming of Mashiach]. Our Sages declared: [Sanhedrin 97b] ‘May the spirits of those who attempt to calculate the final time [of Mashiach's coming] expire!’ Rather, one should await [his coming] and believe in the general conception of the matter, as we have explained.” (Chapter 12 of Hilchos Melachim from the Mishneh Torah of the Rambam).

I do not doubt your statement that the book of Daniel has a curse placed upon it by Jewish leaders. However, could you give me the location of this material from the original Jewish sources?
