[I missed seeing you Sunday but I hear that you look great. But when did you ever not look great? And Jon tells me that the new do makes you look younger. But when were you ever old?]

Thank you Jessica. It is such a joy to view the services by internet. I always appreciate the way Gary pans the congregation so we can get a look at everyone. As for the hair, everyone is telling me how young I look. Sounda good to me. :)

[I’ll probably always say this, but I love your blogs! You have some mad writing skills. It’s true. I feel so blessed every time I read one. I hope to be as wise as you are when I am your age. I hope that I inspire someone the way you inspire me with your walk in Christ. I love you Bro. Buddy]

Jessica. Those are real special compliments. I really appreciate them. Course you've been around me long enough to know that the way I write is the way I think and talk. None of it is put on. And picking is my way of loving on people.

Love you too, little sis.

Blessings,

[I know just what you are talking about with your mom i break down alot of the time, i miss my mom to. there is no one like momma. my mom would have been 60 years old this january 21st. ... I’m thankful for the visits and talks I had with your mom to.
[Kitty] Pigs feet………..oh no………worse than hogs head cheese.

Kitty,

Hog head cheese is another favorite of mine. Just can't take too much at a time. It is sort of a nibbler with crackers.

Seems like I've narrowed my specialty eating down to buttermilk, cracklins, pig's feet, and hog's head cheese. Got some more but I'll slack up a bit. Don't want folks getting too squemish. :)

Blessings,

--Don't know why folk say it taste like chicken. If that's the case, why not just eat chicken.--

I could'nt agree with you more Sir! Just thinking about eating that gives me the heebie jeebies. Jon and I found it disturbing that they had a gator petting booth in Natchitoches...and the booth right next to them was selling gator meat on a stick. I felt sorry for the little guys having to watch their relatives being deep fried and consumed. It's just not right.

I missed seeing you Sunday but I hear that you look great. But when did you ever not look great? And Jon tells me that the new do makes you look younger. But when were you ever old? :)

Pigs feet...........oh no.........worse than hogs head cheese. I always hated hog killing day. Last time I talked to anyone who still did that was my cousin from Colfax back in the 70's. We stopped in the late 40's. Guess we would have starved back in the day, if the weather had been as warm as we have now. Hog killing day had to be cold. Mama did not do pigs feet. Brains and eggs. I did not eat that either. I was a squemish child.

Hey, thanks !!!, Lois ..... You are right on the money. I thought that they would show up like the old Christian Challenge did as a note in my email. I'm going to travel right on back as soon as I say one more time .... (that's a downright lie! ... I'll probably say it again and again and again) how much I love reading these. Thanks, Buddy, Betty, kids one and all, and now you, Lois.

I am responding in Buddy's newest sharing, hoping Twyla will see it. You wrote: "I love these writings, Buddy. I am concerned that you do not get my responses. If you do, will you let me know, somehow?"

At the top of every post Buddy makes, it shows the number of comments made on it. Watch this number and you will know when another is made. Buddy is pretty good at responding to almost every comment. My bet is that you haven't gone back and viewed the comment area after you've posted in them.

Hope this helps you. I know Buddy replied to you in the other post, but I was afraid you would also not see that one & hopefully will see this as it is the first comment. :)
